Our Mission
· To uphold truth and integrity
· To foster brotherhood and friendship among all Malayalee’s in particular and all other people in general.
· To build strong family ties and to encourage a high level of moral conduct and other traditional yardsticks of Malayalee’s family values.
· To patronize and encourage one another in all honest endeavors and thus buttress the development of a strong Malayalee’s economic unit.
· To promote and maintain Malayalee’s heritage in Edmonton while enhancing a smooth cultural infusion in recognition of other cultures.
· To promote peace and understanding among all Malayalee’s people in Edmonton and Canada as a whole.
· To unify Malayalee’s in Edmonton, Canada and the World as a whole.
· To conduct and facilitate camps, trainings, exposure visits and educational tours of children, students and youth for personal development, intercultural assimilation, and education.
· To conduct and facilitate events to observe and celebrate the cultural, ethnic and national days of significance for the members of the community.
· To conduct and facilitate any other programs that may deem to strengthen the family and individual life of the community members.
· To conduct and facilitate competitions and other events involving participants from within the association and outside the community to promote sports, arts and education in the community.
· To provide suitable opportunities and forums for its members to participate in the practice of cultural traditions of Kerala, to broaden their experiences and to develop their special talents and interests in recreational, educational, literary, cultural and other activities.
· To encourage and enable the children of the members of the Association to express and develop their potential for leadership in artistic, athletic, educational and other fields of endeavor.
· To receive, invest, hold property and disburse funds for the purpose of carrying out the objectives of Belvedere Malayalee Association without violating the non-profit status.
